We are a growing, dynamic California Workers' Compensation Defense law firm seeking a licensed attorney with experience in WCAB appearances, file handling, and client communication. Key Responsibilities:
Independently handle a full caseload from referral through resolution
Attend WCAB hearings, status conferences, depositions, and trials
Draft letters, pleadings, discovery, and settlement documents
Develop case strategy in partnership with clients and firm leadership
Maintain regular client communication and reporting
Work closely with paralegals and administrative staff
Requirements:
Active California Bar license in good standing
1–10+ years’ experience in workers' compensation defense preferred
Strong legal writing and oral advocacy skills
Reliable, detail-oriented, and deadline-driven
Experience with EAMS, WCAB procedure, and DWC compliance
Familiarity with paperless office systems and legal practice software
