We are seeking a Legal Assistant / Paralegal with prior experience in California Workers Compensation law to join our team and help make a difference
Job Responsibilities:
Answer incoming phone calls and must have good phone personality
Assist in managing a low volume case load from intake to resolution.
File and serve documents through EAMS and maintain electronic files calendar deadlines, hearings, depositions
Draft letters, settlement documents, DOR's, etc
Request and follow up on medical records, QME reports and
RFA's, UR and IMR.
Obtain medical treatment through the MPN
Support attorney with trial exhibits and preparation
Must have minimum 2 years experience in Workers comp
