Motorcycle, Automotive, Offroad manufacturing company looking for a full-time experienced AUTO CAD Designer who has the ability to model and design new products. Must have working knowledge and experience with CNC Mills and Lathes and Automotive or Motorcycle knowledge mandatory.
Duties
- Continuously design new products and make improvements to existing projects using AutoCAD
- QA/QC all drawings for CAD standards and format
- Create Models, Blueprints, drawings
- Update Existing Models / Prints
- Manage Document Control
- Create and Update Bill of Materials
- Implement and Manage All Quality Standards on the production floor
Skills Required
- Proven Track Record with Solidworks or most Common Auto CAD Software
- Manufacturing Knowledge
- CNC Mill and Lathe Manufacturing Knowledge
- Must know the working properties of a wide variety of materials including steel, aluminum and stainless.
- Must be proficient in the use of all types of gauges, micrometers, calipers, etc. Normal hand tools for machinists. Drills, taps etc.
- Conduct quality review on designs, checking for inaccuracies.
