Job Description:
The Quality Manager maintains the companies Quality Assurance Program, training programs, and company procedures on the shop floor. Quality assurance means we maintain a high level of quality in our products and shop floor by means of attention to every stage of the process.
Primary Duties and Responsibilities:
Implement and Maintain ISO 9001 Certification
Ensure that manufacturing, quality, and shipping processes run reliably and according to company policies and procedures
Supervise and motivate employees
Review worker performance
Ensure that OSHA health and safety guidelines are followed
Responsible for all machinery equipment PM Schedules
New employee training
Determine and implement improvements to the production process
Responsible for cleanliness and organization of warehouse
Responsible for the receiving, inspection, and organization of all inventory
Responsible for all QMS activities related to production.
In charge of the production process and goal is to meet production process KPI goals.
Responsible for Production Non Conformances, Preventative Maintenance schedule, maintaining accurate lead times, communicating production schedule/ lead time with customer Service and sales, monitoring sales order ship dates vs actual ship dates.
Ensuring production has access and is using latest revision of controlled documents.
Providing all necessar resources for production to meet KPI goals.
Approve/handle disposition of NCP caused by production.
Required Qualifications:
5 years experience in Quality Assurance in manufacturing setting-print environment preferred.
Experience with ISO.
Experience in ISO Audits. Knowledge of safety and regulatory complains (OSHA) and /or ISO 9000 and 9001
Excellent written and oral communication skills.
