Position Summary:
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Sandblast and Powder Coating Technician to join our team. This role is responsible for preparing and finishing various materials using sandblasting and powder coating techniques to meet high-quality standards.
Key Responsibilities:
Operate sandblasting equipment to clean and prepare surfaces for powder coating.
Apply powder coatings to various surfaces using appropriate techniques and equipment.
Ensure all work meets specified quality and safety standards.
Maintain and clean equipment regularly to ensure optimal performance.
Follow all company safety policies and procedures.
Collaborate with team members to meet production deadlines.
Qualifications:
Prior experience in sandblasting, powder coating, or a related field is preferred but not required; on-the-job training is available.
Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
Ability to work in a physically demanding environment, including lifting and standing for extended periods.
Basic mechanical skills and familiarity with tools and equipment.
Dependable and able to adhere to a consistent schedule.
