We're a busy, mid-sized construction company with a small and casual office, located in Riverside, CA, that's looking for someone who’s organized, reliable, and responsible, to join our team and assist us in all facets of our organization.
We’re looking for an "all-around" person who’s a quick learner, able to multi-task, and open to taking on new tasks when needed. As our administrative assistant, you will have many standard ongoing duties, but there will also be a lot of back and forth and helping whenever and wherever needed, so we're looking for someone who feels comfortable in that role.
Individual will be responsible for answering phones, maintaining computerized and paper filing systems, computer entry, and general office duties, as well as lending support in all areas of our company, including assisting with payroll, accounting, communicating with field employees, customers, and subcontractors, maintaining company, employee, and subcontractor information, and project administration.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
Only individuals with prior office experience will be considered. Previous administrative experience and construction office experience a plus.
Must have strong verbal and written communication skills; must be comfortable answering phones, screening for unwanted calls and sales calls, and taking detailed messages, as well as calling people to answer questions or request information, as needed. Office phones are not generally busy, but we still want a person that's comfortable speaking with people and who will leave a good impression.
Will be expected to maintain filing systems and help keep the office organized.
Must have accurate computer and typing skills.
Must be comfortable using a computer. Knowledge of Microsoft Office, including writing letters, using forms, and making and keeping logs and spreadsheets is a huge plus, but we will train
Job Type: Full-time; Monday through Friday 7:30 am to 4:00 pm
