$45,000 - $50,000 Base plus commission. Realistic pay is $85,000 - $125,000 your first year with basic quotas met.

Responsibilities:

· Identify and pursue new business opportunities: market research to identify potential clients and projects for business expansion. This includes canvassing active construction job sites in the field (cold calling), calling / texting existing clients to expand the account with new contacts, and keeping contacts up to date with email marketing. Visits to construction job sites, and professional offices equally to develop relationships with purchasing professionals.

· Job cost knowledge to provide estimates that are competitive and accurate. Prepare proposals and negotiate contracts through reading civil plans and assessing needs to provide solutions

· Actively reach out to prospective and existing clients through various channels such as cold calling, networking events, and referrals. Not afraid to ASK FOR THE REFERRAL.

· Develop creative and effective strategies to generate leads and secure new accounts.

· Maintaining accurate pipelines in our CRM and organized tasks for timely and appropriate follow-up. Meet in the office every morning with the client service team to discuss daily / weekly strategies. Finish out the day in the office to document in the CRM and set follow up tasks with the team.

· Attend to all emails, calls, texts, communication from your clients when they need you. Sometimes there is unexpected emergencies, and you must have a sense of urgency with every request.

As rental accounts are built, the pay will increase year over year with no cap on commission. Commission on rentals, sale of product, labor provided, and transportation of product.

Must have at least three years in Business-to-Business sales in the Construction Industry. Proven experience in business development in the Southern California region. Outside Sales – B2B Account Executive. Not able to consider applicants with a DUI due to insurance regulations.

Extreme Plates is a specialty construction contractor and vendor of steel plates throughout the United States. Although we sell our products and provide contractor services such as erosion control / SWPPPs – the primary business is RENTING STEEL PLATES that guarantees reoccurring income, many rental contracts can go for a year or more. Many revenue streams available to grow your accounts.

We are a certified DBE and Small Business that provides SWPPP (Stormwater Pollution Prevention Plan) services for clients such as the Department of Defense, Los Angeles World Airports, Disney, and many high-level prevailing wage projects that require professionalism and meticulousness.

Extreme Plates is seeking a highly driven and proactive Business Development Professional to join us. You will be responsible for developing and maintaining relationships with prospective new clients, as well as nurturing existing client relationships. The successful candidate will be responsible for both maintaining existing accounts and identifying new opportunities to “mushroom” those accounts and acquire new clients. Growing existing accounts and filling your pipeline with new potential clients equally.

Qualifications:

· Have at least three years in Business-to-Business sales in the construction, or related industry. Proven experience in business development in the Southern California region.

· Strong sense of accountability - ensures that you will do what you say that you are going to do

· Good driving record, valid driver’s license, NO DUI’s. You will be driving our company car daily throughout Southern California.

· Computer skills a MUST. Will be using the CRM, Google Docs, email marketing, and communication with the team via texting and apps on the company provided iPhone.

· Excellent closing skills. Must meet and exceed activity expectations. Can’t be afraid to pick up the phone and ask for business or visit job sites / purchasing offices in person to present the features and benefits of using Extreme Plates.
