Seeking professional individuals who offer Mobile Roadside Assistance services as an independent contractor. This on-call freelance position requires technicians to have their own tools and vehicles. Technicians must be self-motivated, self-managed, and self-disciplined. Technicians are paid per job completed. Compensation is competitive against industry rates (30%) - based on our exclusive rate schedule. Must be available for a day or night shift. Clean background and driving record.
Candidates will provide on-site assistance to stranded motorists, using their mechanical knowledge and expertise to assess vehicle issues.

DUTIES
- Respond to calls in a timely and efficient manner
- Communicate clearly and concisely with motorists; confirming ETAs and ensuring the motorists with updates on the status of the request
- Utilize a variety of tools, including a jump box, floor jack, lockout kit, gas can, hand tools, and power tools, to perform light- to heavy-duty roadside assistance
- Document all services performed with invoices in a detailed and accurate manner
- Troubleshoot battery issues and perform battery testing to identify root causes
- Provide detailed replacement recommendations for battery and tire purchases
REQUIREMENTS
- Valid driver's license and a reliable vehicle for travel to roadside assistance calls
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Physical stamina to perform tasks that may require standing, kneeling, or lifting
- Proficiency in using a battery tester or multi-meter diagnostic tools
- Familiarity with hand tools and power tools commonly used in vehicle repair
- Ability to lift and maneuver heavy objects and equipment
