We are looking for a Manager of Project Communications to join our Information Technology Communications, Training and Brand team. This is an exciting opportunity to manage a portfolio of projects around Master Data Management and showcase MDM products and capabilities through strategic campaigns, product & platform launches and storytelling.

The ideal candidate will have a background in communications and training, experience managing a product portfolio, processes and workflows, and the ability to plan/execute communications and training for mid- to large-size projects.

In this role, you will work closely with:

Director of IT Communications, Training & Brand Strategic Project Management Office IT Communications Managers, Project Managers, Graphic Designers, Technical Writers


Responsibilities:

Manage complex IT Master Data Management project portfolio, including resources, communications/training campaign strategies, and reporting of communications/training plans and progress.
Develop and execute impactful communications/training campaigns for innovative IT products, initiatives, and technology.
Oversee communication/training timelines and plans for projects/campaigns and manage execution of communications and training campaigns.
Create and manage communications and training processes, master projects content calendar, story bank/archive, and communications/training tool kits.
Act as a change agent and communications/training consultant for small IT projects and initiatives.
Oversee content development and channel planning for projects in your portfolio.
Edit content so it aligns with our brand and IT editorial standards/brand voice.

Candidates will be asked to complete sample writing exercises if selected to interview. Exercises are as follows:

Our organization is preparing to launch a new enterprise application, and we need to tell a general, non-technical audience about it. Write a go-live communication to describe the product and why they should be excited about it.

Previously, employees were able to remote work on Mondays and Fridays, but not on Tuesdays, Wednesdays or Thursdays. Employees will now be allowed to work remote any day except for Wednesdays. Compose an internal memo informing coworkers of this change in the office's remote policy.

Skills:
Experience with project management tools such as Basecamp, Wrike, Microsoft Planner, Hive, Clarizen etc. (2 years) Well organized, with strong project management skills Experience creating communications and project processes for a team and/or organization and generating buy-in for them (5+ years) Ability to filter out noise; and prioritize, manage expectations and meet deadlines Ability to edit team content for a range of channels and audiences Capable of distilling complex information into content that is compelling and useful A good eye for images; photos and graphics; and ability to see how both can help tell a story Good understanding of editorial style and brand guidelines and producing content that complies with them Confident meeting with leaders from IT and Global Edwards, and asking the right questions to get the information you need Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment Experience with MS Office Suite - general working knowledge, 2+ years experience Experience managing all communication for a portfolio Experience managing communication for a product launch, a technology product would be a plus

This role will be primarily Remote but will need to come onsite as needed for meetings, could be 1-2 days a week so we need local candidates
Keywords:
Education:
Bachelor's Degree in Journalism, Communications or a related field
Minimum 10 years of experience in Communications or Marketing
Background in Data and/or Analytics Required, but open to strong background in Technology
5 years of experience leading projects start to finish required;
PMP (project management professional) is a plus

Preferred Qualifications:

Experience working in a matrixed company or organization Experience working in a regulated industry Operational knowledge of applications and technology Experience as part of a thriving global team Understanding of industry/workforce trends and drivers for medical tech industry.
