Leadership oversight of the asset lifecycle, Maintenance Repair Operations (MRO), planning scheduling, vendor management and leadership within Plant Operations Engineering (POE) structure.

Manage the POE maintenance and reliability support team including individual contributors and oversee the work assigned aligned to company, department and individual goals.

Develop a robust talent development plan in alignment with functional growth strategies of the department.

Drive culture engage staff morale and ensure employees' safety.

Drive maintenance sustaining projects with the accountability for successful completion of all project deliverables within established schedule, scope, and quality objectives.

Lead in identifying risk, developing mitigation strategies, defining alternative solutions, and resolving issues in collaboration with cross-functional groups.

Negotiate plans, budgets and schedules relating to equipment maintenance, upgrades and/or new production and facility technologies for multiple areas.

Lead efforts to optimize facilities maintenance management systems, asset management processes by assessing business needs and developing, proposing, and implementing technology solution options.

Ensure continuous execution of engineering related operations within the plant in compliance with quality, safety, and environmental standards.

Use performance metrics to ensure proper operations and drive continuous improvement.

Drive a value stream mindset and culture of continuous improvement based on lean and Six Sigma principles and EW Production System (EPS).

Connect needs and support within POE work groups.

Prepare, execute and deliver POE specific business reports.

Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned.

What you’ll need (Required):

Bachelor's in engineering or science.

10 years of facilities, equipment, and/or asset management engineering experience, with people management experience, within a regulated environment.

Must have experience with MAXIMO or similar systems.

Must have the ability to be nimble and work off ours/weekends and/or holidays as required by business needs.

Onsite required.

What else we look for (Preferred):

Expert understanding of related aspects of facilities and asset management, including planning experience for asset lifecycle.

MRO and vendor management.

Inventory control and understanding of APICS.

Root cause failure problem solving skills.

High financial Acumen, budgeting, forecasting, and cost control.

Proven successful project management leadership skills.

Expert understanding of engineering procedures while identifying applications of functional knowledge and existing methodologies to complex problems.

Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing concepts, TPM, RCM and Six Sigma.

Ability to lift, walk, stand and/or shadow technicians and engineers if required on asset life cycle execution.

Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, including advanced Excel and manufacturing systems.
