Manufacturing Engineer

Job Title: Manufacturing EngineerJob DescriptionWe are seeking a highly skilled Manufacturing Engineer to evaluate and improve manufacturing methods. The ideal candidate will analyze and plan workflow, space requirements, and equipment layout, troubleshoot and resolve production issues, and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and quality. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure product specifications and quality standards are met, conduct time and motion studies, maintain and update process documentation and SOPs, and ensure compliance with safety regulations and industry standards.Responsibilities

Evaluate and improve manufacturing methods.

Analyze and plan workflow, space requirements, and equipment layout.

Troubleshoot and resolve production issues to minimize downtime.

Implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and quality.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure product specifications and quality standards are met.

Conduct time and motion studies to optimize production processes.

Maintain and update process documentation and standard operating procedures (SOPs).

Ensure compliance with safety regulations and industry standards.

Essential Skills

Proven experience in identifying and implementing process improvements.

Strong problem-solving skills to diagnose and resolve production issues.

Knowledge of lean manufacturing principles and practices.

Proficiency in CAD software and other relevant engineering tools.

Experience with electrical systems.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Manufacturing Engineering or a related field.

Minimum of 5 years of experience in a manufacturing or process engineering role.

Hands-on experience writing procedures and work instructions.

Strong analytical and organizational skills.

Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.

Work EnvironmentYou will report into the quality department but work on the manufacturing floor.
