Apply now and become a part of our exciting journey! About the Role: Join RailPros as a Structural Design Intern and dive into the dynamic world of rail infrastructure. This internship provides an opportunity to engage in the design and development of rail structural projects. As a key team member, you’ll collaborate with experienced professionals, gain hands-on experience with CAD software, and contribute to the success of ongoing projects. This role offers a rich learning environment to apply your academic knowledge, build technical skills, and lay the groundwork for a rewarding career in structural design. If you’re passionate about transportation and eager to make a real impact, join our innovative and collaborative team! Essential Duties & Responsibilities :

Assist in Design Development:

Collaborate with the structural design team to contribute to structural engineering projects.

Work with structural engineers to create detailed design drawings, plans, and specifications.

CAD Modeling and Drafting:

Use CAD software (AutoCAD and/or MicroStation) to create detailed models and drawings.

Participate in designing structural components and systems per industry standards and project requirements.

Data Analysis:

Assist in collecting and analyzing data relevant to structural projects.

Collaboration and Communication:

Work with cross-functional teams and communicate effectively to convey ideas, progress, and challenges.

Quality Assurance:

Participate in quality assurance and quality control activities.

Qualifications:Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities :

Excellent communication skills and proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.

Basic oral and written communication abilities.

Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.

Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks.

Collaborative and team-oriented.

Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing accurate work.

Willingness to learn and adapt.

Required Education and Experience :

Bachelor’s degree in Civil/Structural Engineering from an ABET/EAC accredited program (in progress).

No prior experience required.
