Our Portfolio Planning and Integration team is expanding, and we're in search of dynamic individuals with experience in Electrification, Energy Efficiency or Demand Response to strengthen our strategic planning efforts. As a valued member of our team, you'll collaborate with a group of subject matter experts and project managers to assess our customer program designs, find opportunities for new initiatives, and align our portfolio with our corporate clean energy aspirations (Countdown to 2045 | Edison International (https://www.edison.com/our-perspective/countdown-to-2045) ). Your role will be instrumental in driving SCE's electrification, energy management, and energy efficiency endeavors, overseeing pivotal aspects such as formulating regulatory responses, ensuring program alignment, and providing insightful consultation. Are you ready to take on the challenge to help us build the future?A day in the life - Get ready to think big, work smart and shine bright!As a Customer Program Senior Advisor in our Customer Programs and Services division, your role will be pivotal in driving SCE's clean energy ambitions. You will:

Lead Program Design : Work with our Demand Response (DR) team to shape our load management programs and ensure they are responsive to our residential and commercial customer’s needs.

Set Our Path : Help decide our main goals and what's most important for customers, our team, and SCE.

Plan Ahead : Think about our future energy needs, support long-term scenario planning, and create roadmaps to align our programs with future opportunities.

Team Up & Solve Problems : Partner with our legal, regulatory and business teams to figure out the best strategies, write compelling filings and fix issues to set us up for future success.

Make Key Connections : Work with other utilities, SCE groups and communities to make our programs the best they can be.

The essentials

10 or more years of work experience in strategic planning, program development or related functions.

Experience leading projects from ideation to execution.

Experience in energy program management, particularly in areas related to electrification of transportation/buildings, demand response, or income-qualified utility programs.

Strong knowledge of regulatory and policy issues related to the energy industry, including understanding of relevant regulatory bodies and processes.

The preferred

Experience in areas like vehicle grid integration (VGI), V2G, V2X, or bidirectional energy market participation.

Prior role in management consulting or a related field with a focus on strategy or business planning.

Excellent in both oral and written communication, including top-notch presentation abilities for leadership interactions.

You should know

This position’s work mode is hybrid. The employee will report to an SCE facility for a set number of days with the option to work remotely on the remaining days. Unless otherwise noted, employees are required to reside in the state of California. Further details of this work mode will be discussed at the interview stage.
