Manager, Regional Training Delivery

JOB SUMMARYResponsible for managing the implementation and delivery of training in Field Operations. Responsible for the coordination and delivery of product, process and training including the management of all field training resources. Measure and evaluate the effectiveness of training programs.MAJOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Actively and consistently supports all efforts to simplify and enhance the customer experience

Oversees the implementation and delivery of training delivery in Field Operations

Manages all field training resources

Assumes a leadership role in identifying training needs and determining appropriate strategies for meeting those needs

Serves as key consultant for management in assessing ways in which training can help reach Regional and KMA objectives

Monitors the progress of training initiatives and follow-up as appropriate; measure training success through performance metrics

Measures and evaluates the effectiveness of training in achieving desired outcomes

Keeps abreast of current learning and performance strategies, delivery methods, and techniques

Determines implementation plans, schedules, resource needs, and supporting logistics for delivery of training initiatives

Works with KMA training to develop and maintain a 90 day training delivery calendar consistent with the priorities of management

Sources and acquires resources for the development of in-house training delivery as needed to meet business needs

Performs other duties as required

Ability to manage multiple projects to meet target dates for implementation

Ability to operate personal computer, spreadsheet application, database, windows

Ability to show judgment and initiative and to accomplish job duties

Ability to lead and manage others

Skills in evaluating the impact of training initiatives

Skills in teambuilding, relationship building, facilitation and presentation

Required Education

Bachelor’s degree in Human Resource Development, Business Administration or related field required

Required Related Work Experience and Number of Years

Training experience - 5

Project Management experience - 3

Preferred Skills/Abilities and Knowledge

Knowledge of cable television products and services a plus

Skills in instructional design methodologies

Knowledge of a variety of training delivery systems
