Conduct Field Safety Audits and Inspections: Regularly perform safety audits and inspections to identify and address immediate and potential hazards. Conducts safety audits for high-risk customers as required.

Hazard Identification and Risk Assessment: Use iSafe data and field observations to proactively identify risks and assess hazards to prevent accidents and ensure a safe working environment for all colleagues.

Safety Training and Awareness: Administers local safety training program, including new hire orientation, annual training, and customer specific training. Responsible for both conducting training (MEWP, LOTO, Etc.) and ensuring online training is completed. Track and manage safety certifications as needed.

Data Analysis and Reporting: Analyzes safety data and reports findings to local leadership team and National Safety Manager.

PPE Management: Assists with the identification and procurement of relevant safety equipment and Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).

Injury Management: Supports Injury Management Plans to reduce severity of workers compensation claims.

Safety Committee: Chairs local safety committee and develops annual goals with local leadership team. Serves as the safety SME for colleague questions. Develop safety plans for special events such as Convergint Day.

Emergency Response Planning: Leads emergency response plan and conducts regular drills to ensure preparedness for unexpected events.

Assists Sales in completing Pre-Qualification questionnaires, RFPs, and bid documents. Serve as liaison to customer/GC/EC on all safety issues and demonstrate the value of the Convergint Safety Program.

Oversees training needs and program to ensure colleagues are equipped to follow industry standards for installation and service. Coordinates and schedules partners to provide industry specific training for colleagues.

Leads team of Convergint colleagues to help develop and implement best practices in applying industry standards for installation, service, and connect partners. Reports discrepancies in installation or service practices to leadership and assists with developing and implementing strategies to improve or correct the discrepancies.

Trains end-users and field colleagues on how to operate and maintain systems according to industry best practices and Convergint standards.

Meets with customers to review satisfaction of installation and service practices for the customer’s specific locations. Acts as a customer liaison for quality issues raised by customer or other colleagues.

Ensures that all work has been performed in accordance with Federal, State and local regulations as well as company health and safety policies and procedures.

Performs other duties and responsibilities as requested or required.
