HOW YOU MAKE AN IMPACT Responsible for the overseeing the General and Manufacturing Accounting and Financial Reporting functions and the financial services areas including A/R, A/P, Revenue, Cost Accounting, Treasury, fixed assets, insurance and Payroll. Responsible for implementing and maintaining a system of internal controls that will ensure that company assets are adequately safeguarded and that all financial reporting is prepared in compliance with all financial policies, J-SOX, and US GAAP. Reports to the CEO of US Subsidiary of Ferrotec. WHAT SUCCESS LOOKS LIKE

Responsible for the Ferrotec USA subsidiary accounting operations

Will have direct management responsibility of the following: General Ledger Accounting, Cost Accounting, Revenue, A/P, A/R, payroll, treasury, and Financial Reporting.

Oversees the general accounting function, which includes inter-company accounting, cash management/reconciliation, financial reporting, balance sheet management.

Establishes and maintains proper accounting policies and procedures that ensure an adequate system of internal accounting controls to safeguard the Company’s assets.

Establishes appropriate valuation of reserves for obsolescence of the Company’s inventories, accounts receivable, property, plant and equipment in accordance with GAAP.

Responsible for the overall integrity, accuracy and timely completion of the Company’s internal and external financial statements.

Provides technical accounting GAAP guidance and support to all company locations. At times, this may include involvement in due diligence and other activities surrounding acquisitions/dispositions and asset impairment.

Responsible for ensuring proper timing and application of revenue recognition rules. Involves significant interaction with Sales and Customer Service groups.

Ensures that company financial records, under responsibility, are maintained in compliance with company policies and US GAAP. Responsible for reviewing monthly/quarterly account reconciliations and other documents to ensure this compliance.

Supervises the completion of Federal and State tax reporting requirements (including income, property, sales and use, payroll and other local taxes), insurance reports and other reports required by government regulation.

Ensures that the Oracle system continues to operate as required. Involved in validating/designing suggested changes to ensure accounting requirements continue to be met.

Manages the relationship with the internal and external auditors.

Coordinates work relating to both internal and external audits in the periodic review of the company financial records. Is further responsible for the implementation of agreed upon recommendations, related to areas of responsibility, resulting from the audit findings

Ensures that the accounting department is staffed with qualified financial personnel capable of meeting the objectives and responsibilities, noted above. Responsible for continued development of the team members.

Able to manage Back Office A/P and A/R team in Malaysia.

WHAT YOU NEED TO BE SUCCESSFUL

BS/BA in Accounting or Finance, or equivalent and/or CPA.

At minimum 10 years of combined Public Accounting and Private Industry accounting experience within a multinational business.

Accounting background including General Ledger, AR, AP, account reconciliation, month end close activities, cost accounting and financial reporting.

Thorough understanding of sales and manufacturing functions.

Oracle experience strongly preferred.

FloQast experience preferred.

Strong interpersonal and analytical skills, and proven problem-solving skills.

Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.

Ability to maintain strict confidentiality.

Ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects and work independently.

Attention to detail.

Ability to rely on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals.
