Description We are offering a long term contract employment opportunity for a Receptionist in the Healthcare industry. The role is based in Long Beach, California, 90806, United States. As a Receptionist, you will be the first point of contact for our patients, manage incoming calls, and provide administrative support in a healthcare setting.Responsibilities: Serve as the first point of contact for our patients, ensuring a warm and welcoming environment. Efficiently manage incoming calls, including routing calls to the appropriate party and handling general inquiries. Maintain an organized and efficient filing system to ensure easy access to patient records. Schedule appointments for patients and manage changes or cancellations as necessary. Utilize your multilingual skills to communicate effectively with our diverse patient base. Utilize Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook for data entry and email correspondence. Maintain a high level of customer service, addressing and resolving patient inquiries in a timely manner. Utilize your strong organizational skills to manage files and schedule appointments. Demonstrate your strong interpersonal skills by building and maintaining effective patient relations. Requirements Minimum of 1+ years of experience as a receptionist or similar administrative role within the Healthcare/NHS industry Proficiency in using Microsoft Office Suite including Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Outlook, and Microsoft Word Proven ability to answer multi-line phone system, demonstrating excellent telephone etiquette Experience in scheduling appointments and maintaining calendars Excellent customer service skills, with a history of interacting positively with patients and medical professionals Strong data entry skills, ensuring accurate and efficient input of information into systems Demonstrated ability to organize files, both physical and digital, for easy access and retrieval Excellent interpersonal skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with patients, medical staff, and other stakeholders Experience in email correspondence, ensuring timely responses and maintaining professionalism Must have the ability to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively Ability to maintain patient confidentiality in accordance with applicable laws and regulations.
