We are an environmental technology business providing a wide variety of products and service management for local and nationwide customers. We are seeking a dynamic, self-starting versatile accounting assistant with a friendly attitude, detail oriented, and organized for a full time position (M - F; 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM) who will operate out of our corporate offices. We sell, rent, lease, repair, install, and service commercial / industrial waste and recycling equipment in the greater Los Angeles area as well as Nationwide.
Essential Functions / Responsibilities:
Experience in accounts payables, collections and accounts receivables.
Monthly and annual banks, credit cards entries and reconciliations.
Experience with Inventory Accounting.
General office and administrative duties as necessary.
Work closely with our controller to ensure timely and accurate invoicing and collections.
Requirements / Qualifications:
Bi-lingual is preferred (Spanish).
Pass a pre-employment criminal background investigation.
Pass a pre-employment substance abuse screening.
Excellent written and verbal communications skills.
QuickBooks proficient.
Strong computer skills, Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.
Excellent, detail-oriented, well-disciplined administrative organizational skills.
Excellent situational awareness and outstanding attention to detail.
