We are a small team of dedicated professionals based throughout California, and we are experiencing exciting growth. We need a superstar to join our accounting department to support upper management in various business functions including Payroll, Accounts Payable (A/P), Accounts Receivable (A/R), and day-to-day operations.

Position Overview

This hands-on role involves a variety of responsibilities in both operations and accounting. Your contributions will be vital to our success.

Key Responsibilities

HR Functions: Process and submit bi-weekly payroll through ADP.

Accounts Receivable Oversight: Manage the Billing Department, post invoices, and follow up on past due invoices with clients.

Accounts Payable Management: Handle the full cycle of A/P which includes reviewing, coding, and entering bills, preparing them for payment, issuing checks, and mailing them. Resolve vendor issues and reconcile statements.

Filing & Organization: Keep all invoices, check copies, and accounting files (Payroll, A/P, A/R, and logs) organized and accessible.

Data Entry: Maintain accurate records.

General Office Duties: Adapt to day-to-day office needs, including purchasing for field teams.

Required Qualifications

Personable and approachable with a positive attitude.

Professional demeanor with a focus on quality customer service.

Strong time management, organizational skills, and attention to detail with a high level of accuracy.

Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, able to convey information clearly across all company departments.

Team player who can collaborate effectively with other teams.

A minimum of 3 to 5 years of office/administrative experience.

At least 2 to 3 years of bookkeeping experience.

Proficient in the Google Office Suite.

Experienced with QuickBooks (both desktop and online versions).

Experience in construction accounting/administration is a plus.

Certified payroll experience is a plus.

Bilingual in Spanish is advantageous but not required.
