We are a staffing agency seeking an Accounts Payable Specialist for a client in Glendale/LA area. We are currently interviewing for these spots ASAP. The client is a dynamic, family-owned HVAC company with $25M in annual revenue and a growing team of 100 employees. Seeking an experienced and energetic Accounts Payable (A/P) specialist familiar with Sage, Excel, and all aspects of accounts payable, including ACH payments and online invoicing. The role is highly automated and will occasionally require interaction with the owner 10-15% of the time, particularly for printing invoices or addressing accounting-related requests. The successful candidate will report to the Controller and collaborate with the bookkeeper as necessary. We are looking for an individual with a great personality and a commitment to meeting the Controller's needs. The family-oriented business prides itself on a friendly environment and is excited to welcome a new member to the team. Training will be provided by the outgoing staff member.
This is a direct hire, full-time, on-site position. Candidates should have previous experience in accounting as Accounts Payable clerk/specialist.
Role: Accounts Payable Specialist
Pay Rate: $27/hr
Responsibilites:
- Making sure vendors are paid on time, bill amounts are correct and having attention to detail
- Candidates must have proficiency with Sage or QuickBooks and Excel, and all aspects of accounts payable, including ACH payments and online invoicing
- Printing invoices or addressing accounting-related requests as needed
