We are seeking an Accounts Receivable Specialist to be part of our team.
Essential responsibilities include but are not limited to:
Record and post daily cash receipt transactions and monthly accruals into accounting system
Prepare monthly and weekly AR Aging reports
Send out weekly customer statements regarding overdue accounts
Process adjustment/issue credit memos
Resolves account discrepancies by investigating, analyzing and collecting
Review, validate and maintain customer account information
Prepares detailed sales analysis and monthly A/R reconciliation reports
Assist with accounting queries and special projects as needed
Required qualifications
Warm professional demeanor and a positive, "can do" approach.
Strong attention to detail with a focus on accuracy
Highly organized and detail-oriented
Must have good time management and be deadline oriented
Proficient in Microsoft Office Skills and 10 key by touch
Ability to work independently and be a team player
Education: Associate Degree or above
Experience:
1 year in accounting and/or bookkeeping
SAGE 100 experience is a plus
