Bookkeeper (Construction/HVAC industry)
We are looking for a detail-oriented and organized Bookkeeper to join our Client's team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in accounting and bookkeeping, with a minimum of three years of experience. This position requires proficiency in Microsoft Office and Sage 100 (Sage Intacct Construction). Experience in the construction industry is a plus. What You’ll Do:
Maintain accurate financial records, including accounts payable and receivable.
Process invoices, payments, and reconcile bank statements.
Assist with payroll processing and related tax filings.
Prepare financial reports and assist with budgeting and forecasting.
Ensure compliance with company accounting policies and procedures.
Work closely with project managers and other departments to track job costs.
Support month-end and year-end closing activities.
Perform other administrative accounting duties as needed.
About You
Minimum 3 years of bookkeeping/accounting experience.
Proficient in Microsoft Office and Sage 100 (Sage Intacct Construction).
Strong attention to detail and excellent organizational skills.
Ability to work in the office every day (7:30 AM - 4:30 PM, with a 30-minute lunch break).
Knowledge of the construction industry is a plus.
Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
Ability to multitask and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
Compensation & Benefits:
Pay rate: $27 - $30 per hour.
Benefits include: Vacation, sick, and holiday pay.
