BOOKKEEPER for CPA Firm Marina del Rey, CA
Bookkeeper Position is available for motivated person to work with directly with clients preparing financial statements and reconciling bank statements and credit card statements to the general ledger.
Must have strong experience with Quickbooks Online (and QB Desktop) and also be proficient in Excel. Must know how to prepare Balance Sheet and Income Statements for the Monthly Reports.
Working directly with the owner/CPA, the candidate in this position will also assist in the preparation of tax returns using ProSeries Tax Software.

Requirements:
Accounting College Course Work (degree preferred)
Bookkeeping and Tax Preparation experience of 3 years or more
Experience in preparing tax returns on Tax Software
Quickbooks Software (ONLINE) at least 3 years of experience
Excel power user
Good Communication Skills
Motivated and self-driven, ability to complete assigned work with reasonable time frames; ability to focus and attention to detail.

Preference is given to applicants located on the West Side of Los Angeles (Venice, Santa Monica, Marina del Rey) and who have worked at least three years preparing tax returns.
