Family operated restaurant in Hollywood with amazing food is hiring.

Office Manager

PRIMARY DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES – duties include but are not limited to:

Responsible for processing daily cash reports and all cash deposits; tracking and reconciling cash receipts.

Filing and input of account payables and utilities in Quickbooks and office files

Timely organization of invoices and prepared payments.

Incoming Phone calls, mail and emails correspondence with vendors, staff, clients

Payroll Administration . Responsible for payroll, worker’s comp, filing and paying all taxes (federal and state taxes, employment taxes, worker’s comp).

Prepare and file Board of Equalization taxes (online).

Responsible for bank and credit card reconciliation and an A/P aging report.

Keeping a well organized and clean working area.

Ordering office supplies and managing supply inventory.

Keeping employee files current, in house and on payroll company files as well as maintaining handbook information current, and ServeSafe files updated.

Prepare monthly and quarterly P & L reports on time.

Be here on Saturdays daytime, as one of the 3 days work week.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:

Strong computer skills are required including proficiency in Quickbooks Online, knowledge of how to operate standard computer equipment, printers, faxes, and related equipment.

Ability to maintain a professional appearance and positive attitude at all times, with a team-oriented attitude.

Good oral and written communication skills.

Ability to multi-task and remain motivated and positive.

Likes to organize.

While performing this job, the employee is required to work in a restaurant office environment.

The employee is required to keep inventory and stock office supplies.

REQUIREMENTS:

POSITION SUMMARY:

The Office Manager is responsible for providing high level administrative support to the owners. The Office Manager maintains a well-organized office, files, takes minutes for meetings as requested and handles details of a confidential and critical nature - including keeping sensitive company information safe.

Acts with the highest degree of dignity, professionalism, and interpersonal effectiveness while exercising sound judgment, anticipates a variety of needs and problems and proactively suggests solutions.

Always maintains privacy and confidentiality with all internal information.

Routinely handles internal and external inquiries, answering questions, and redirecting to the appropriate personnel.

Time off requests are subject to owner’s approval.

WORKING CONDITIONS/PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

This is primarily an office position that requires only occasional bending, reaching, stooping, lifting and moving of office materials weighing 25 pounds or less. The position requires daily use of a personal computer and requires entering, viewing, and revising primary duties and essential job functions.
