V&A Law Firm is seeking a skilled, detail-oriented Bookkeeper to join our growing personal injury practice. The ideal candidate will have experience in legal accounting, trust account management, and case expense tracking within a law firm environment.
Responsibilities include:
- Managing accounts payable and receivable
- Reconciling trust and operating accounts
- Recording settlements, disbursements, and case costs
- Coordinating with attorneys and staff regarding client funds
- Preparing monthly financial reports
- Ensuring compliance with IOLTA and accounting regulations
Qualifications:
- Minimum 2 years of bookkeeping experience (law firm experience preferred)
- Proficiency in QuickBooks and Microsoft Office
-Strong understanding of legal billing and trust accounting
- Excellent organizational and communication skills
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and accuracy
