We have an investment operations role come in for a private research university. This is a contract role with a hybrid schedule. Office is located in Pasadena.
Some duties are:
-Process capital calls and distributions (including stock distributions), enter in the operations system, keep related status logs, reconcile transactions with custodian and with investment managers.
-Monitor cash daily and reconcile various cash accounts weekly.
-Calculate monthly market values for hedge funds that require basic calculations using manager estimates.
-Prepare various workpapers for month-end close and review procedures.
-Review manager quarterly capital statements and reconcile any discrepancies.
