A Los Angeles based Property management firm is currently seeking a GL Accountant to join the accounting team. The office is located near the Silver Lake area. This is a position full-time and will be working out of the corporate office. This is NOT a remote or hybrid position. Responsibilities/Requirements
- Maintain Balance Sheet accounts are balanced and accurate.
- Preparation & post all journal entries for all general ledger accounts accurately and timely.
- Assist in preparing financial reports and consolidating financial statements.
- Assist in General Ledger Month-End Close preparation
- Reconciliation of the general ledger accounts
- Prepare HUD files for the HUD audits.
- Prepare tax files for tax returns.
- Maintain documentation for compliance to the company policies and procedures.
- College AA degree or higher is required.
- Experience in and/or knowledge of Yardi is preferred, but not required.
- Microsoft Excel- strong experience is required.
- Written and oral communication skills.
- Ability to multi-task and time management
- Other duties as assigned by management
Compensation/Schedule
- $66,700 - $70,000 salary per year
- Medical, dental, vision, and life insurance
- Full Time- Mon-Fri- 8a-6p, hours can vary
- Work out of office, A MUST. Remote or hybrid work is NOT an option.
