Newly Forming Broker-Dealer Seeks Head of Investment Banking
We are currentlyseeking a Head of Investment Bankingto join ourteam!You will conduct quantitative analyses of various investment and financial programs.
About the firm: holding company prepares to manage and operate newly forming broker-dealer. The three most senior directors bring over 60 years of combined brokerage, advisory and commodities experience to the table.
You: a trusted investment banking professional looking to have a team built around you, you're a natural leader across multiple industry verticals, (specialists welcome to apply as well). You should be comfortable working deals from start to finish independently, however, you'll have at least two other analysts supporting your efforts initially.
Requirements: Series 79, at least two to three years of investment banking experience, M&A, IPOs, etc. Equity offerings a must, debt offerings a plus. Firm will sponsor you for your Series 24 licensing. Candidates must pass the Series 24 exam within four months of joining the firm, if they do not already hold an active Series 24.
Transferrable book of business is a plus. Series 7 and Series 63 licenses a plus. Candidates must be prepared to explain their past investment banking transactions in detail, if called for an interview, and must be willing to forgo a background check, in addition to firm sponsorship of required regulatory licensing if appointed.

Responsibilities:
Conduct cost analysis on financial programs and operations
Determine financial status and analyze forecast results
Perform month-end clientvaluation for assigned funds
Research and assessoffshore and domestic fund options
Resolve accounting errors on a timely basis with documentation
Prepareprofit and loss models
Build/manage DCF and comparable/replacement cost models
Qualifications:
Experience in accounting, finance, or other related fields
Advanced spreadsheet skills
Strong attention to detail
Strong analysis and critical thinking skills
