Position: Payroll/Accounting Administrator for Highline Dealership $56k - $58k per year
Reports To: Controller
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to the following:
ESSENTIAL DUTIES include the following:
· Handles New Hires and Terminations: (verifies i-9 information, follows process for new hires including various login setups and training setups)
· Manages 401k Account including adding new employees, terming, setting up payroll deductions on loans.
· Timesheet corrections and works with department managers to ensure all employees timesheets are clean and accurate for payroll processing.
· Handles all mail correspondence in relation to HR such as: child support notices, wage garnishments, EDD notifications, Employee requests such as verification of employment.
· Prepares and processes accurate bi-monthly payroll and ensures that employees are paid on time
· Handles all employee benefits (Medical, Dental, Vision, Life, Supplemental).
· Handles all Worker’s Compensation claims and works with managers for documentation accuracy.
· Helps controller with various reconciliations (Flooring, Bank, and DMV) including paying and requesting of new and used car flooring. Handles morning reports (bank reports, positive pay uploads. Ensures accuracy of positive pay approvals). Various bank entries / works with sales team for wires
· Works with brokers and provides annual census information and other information
· Works with Payroll company to ensure we are compliant with California Law and minimum wage requirements. Ensures employee files are up to date such as expired driver’s licenses and sales licenses.
· Works with Controller to ensure Environmental issues are up to date and works with KPA to tackle any issues with the store including employee training.
