We are a full-service accounting firm located in Eagle Rock, CA providing bookkeeping, accounting, payroll, and tax services. We're searching for a Senior Accountant to join our team. If you're a detail-oriented professional with experience in accounting and tax services, we want to hear from you. This role offers the chance to lead and mentor junior staff while contributing to the growth and success of our firm.
Key Responsibilities:
Assist with tax planning, compliance, and reporting activities for clients, including individuals, businesses, and other entities.
Prepare and review individual and business tax returns.
Stay updated on changes in tax laws and regulations.
Collaborate with clients and colleagues to address tax-related inquiries and provide expert advice and support.
Lead and mentor junior staff members, fostering their professional growth and development in tax accounting practices.
Assist with special projects and initiatives as assigned by management.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; CPA certification preferred.
2-3+ years of progressive accounting experience
Strong technical tax accounting skills and knowledge of federal, state, and local tax laws.
Proficiency in tax software such as Ultra Tax, Lacerte, ProSystem fx Tax, or similar platforms.
Excellent communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with colleagues and clients.
Proven ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
