Experience in the apparel or the fashion industry a must.
Our client is looking for a senior account manager, with apparel and fashion industry experience. This position would be the controller’s right hand.
Position Responsibilities:
1. 50% of tasks for this position will be directly involved in month end closing, financial reporting, and assisting financial statement reviews and audits
2. 50% of tasks will be related to business analysis and some operational accounting activities
3. Prepare monthly and quarterly journal entries and account reconciliations as part of the monthly close process, as assigned
4. Prepare materials for internal and external reporting on a monthly and quarterly basis
5. Prepare various reconciliations and analysis of account activity
6. Provide support for the annual financial statement audit
7. Prepare inventory analysis as instructed
8. Work on SKU/products analysis/Marketing performance analysis as instructed
Position is in LA
Delegation of some current staff to be discussed
Salary range is from $75,000 to $90,000
