Position: Industrial Sewing Floor Manager needed for a leading international defense contractor.
Location: Compton, CA
Schedule: Monday-Friday: 6:00AM-2:30PM (Subject to change)

Duties:
1. Supervise production and task delegation.
2. Hiring and training of employees.
3. Develop and manage employee handbook.
4. Raw material demands procurement and planning.
5. Inventory management and cleaning/organizing facility.
6. Warehouse equipment supplies and maintenance supervising.
7. First Article inspection executing and documenting.
8. Ability to do workflow charts & SOP's (Standard Operating Procedure).
Requirements:
1. Must have 5 years in manufacturing. 2. Must have 3 years experience in management.
3. Must be bilingual in Spanish.
4. Must be organized and very detail oriented.
5. Computer savvy. Knowledge in Microsoft Office. Experience in QuickBooks is a plus!
6. Must have cut and sewing experience.
7. Must be able to pass a background check with homeland security.
8. Prior experience in the military industry, preferred.
9. Knowledge and experience in CAD and/or lightburn.
Compensation: $50,000-$75,000 per year depending on experience.
