A small and nurturing in-home preschool serving children from 2 1/2 to 5 years old is looking for a morning teacher/assistant teacher to join the dedicated staff. This will be a team teaching. We are located in the mid-city areas of Los Angeles. We are an open, creative, and play-based program that employs an eclectic mixture of teaching approaches to early childhood education. Creating and maintaining a safe, nurturing, and inspiring play environment.
- Planning emergent curriculum.
- Planning and setting up an intentional learning environment based on your understanding of the children's interests.
- Working as a team with other team teachers to create a consistent and coherent program.
- Maintaining an organized learning environment.
- Developing and maintaining a meaningful relationship with each child and family.
- Observing and recording the children's developments throughout the year.
- Attending staff meetings.
- Assisting the children with nap.
- Assisting the children with diaper and toilet needs.
