Job Overview:

We are seeking a skilled Engineer Estimator to join our team. The Engineer Estimator will play a crucial role in analyzing project requirements, preparing cost estimates, and ensuring projects are completed within budget constraints. Directs and coordinates activities to obtain optimum manufacturing efficiency and maintain competitive pricing structure by applying knowledge of specialized methodologies, techniques, principles, or processes.

Job Functions

- Review data to determine material, labor requirements and manufacturing sequences.

- Computes cost factors and prepares estimates used for management purposes, such as planning, organizing and

scheduling work, preparing bids, selecting vendors or subcontractors and determining cost effectiveness.

- Develops, evaluates and improves manufacturing methods, utilizing knowledge and the product design, materials, parts,

fabrication processes, tooling and production equipment capabilities, assembly methods and quality control standards.

- Confers with planning and production concerning the product design and tooling to ensure efficient production

methods.

- Confers with vendors to determine product specifications and evaluates products according to specifications and quality

standards.

- Provide technical interface for customer’s engineering issues / contacts.

- Background in reading/interpreting detail drawings or 2-D blueprints.

- Knowledge of Digital Product Definition (DPD) compliance & all aspects of model-based data sets from customers. -

- Working knowledge or experience of solid molding software (SolidWorks, Catia or equivalent).

- Effective Communication Skills with internal/external customers, sales, engineering, production, and management.

- Participate in team meetings/projects

- Participate in 6S activities & Continuous Improvements activities

- Participate in internal auditing system as required by quality management system.

Experience/Requirements:

Minimum 3-5 years’ experience

Metals experience

Quoting experience

Degree is a plus but not mandatory

Must be a US Persons

Good English reading and writing skills.

Computer Skills: Basic Word and Excel skills

Ability to work 40+ hours of work as needed.

Full-time work: 8 hours/shift, M-F

Work Hours: 6am - 2:30pm

Overtime (OT) expected depending on production needs.
