Job Description: Qualifications:

• An associate’s degree in Geography, Computer Science, or related field or successful completion of a GIS certificate program.
• A minimum of 1-year of experience in GIS data management.
• Must possess and demonstrate knowledge of basic geospatial principles.
• Experience using geospatial tools/functions with an ArcGIS environment.
• Must have the ability to collect, interpret, analyze, integrate graphic and attribute data into an enterprise GIS interpret and understand maps of different types such as parcel maps, utility, and aerial imagery.
• Must be computer literate and have proficient computer file management skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office products including an intermediate skill level in Microsoft Excel.
• Must possess strong research, interpretation, organizational, and planning skills, high level of attention to detail.
• Must be a self-starter and have efficient communication skills.
• Experience with linear referencing, engineering stationing concepts and geometric networks in the pipeline utility industry is desired, but not required.

Responsibilities:

• Processes digital data for inclusion in the geographic information system. Interpret, analyze, integrate graphic, and attribute data into an enterprise GIS.
• Utilize various company systems for tracking individual work, fulfilling update requests.
• Perform minimal administrative duties such as copying, typing, and filing to organize GIS work.
