Hello! We are an LA-based landscape design company. The landscape industry, and thus our firm, is experiencing an increase in project reach and we’d like to partner with freelance landscape designers on individual projects as they come in!
Because we are in Los Angeles and we work in the Mediterranean climate, we’re looking for designers that have a lot of experience with plantings suitable to this climate and currently take projects in this area.
This will be contract work on a project-by-project basis. You would collaborate with our lead designer, however you would be client-facing, take client meetings, and head up the design with the client directly.
We design using AutoCAD and have draftsmen available to draw the plans based on your design sketches, so AutoCAD experience is not required. Knowledge of building codes relating to installation of landscape and hardscape in the various cities in and around LA is a must. On occasion you will need to submit plans to the City for approval, coordinate with outside engineers, consultants, vendors, etc, so experience with this is needed.
You would work from home on your own hours.
