Lawrence Roll-Up Doors is searching for a Mechanical Engineer / with PE for our Baldwin Park, CA Factory.
Candidate must possess a positive and helpful attitude, be self-motivated, with knowledge in metal fabrication, manufacturing process, structural metal experience helpful. Experience with SolidWorks, Draftsight or similar computer programs preferred. 5 years of Mechanical engineering experience a must.
Bilingual, English/Spanish, preferred. We are looking for someone that can help us grow and improve.
Compensation:
Starting wage is depending on experience ($75k to $100k annually)

Duties:
Elevate and Design Doors / Parts / etc.
Fabrication of drawings
Structural Analysis / drawings
Mechanical Analysis / drawings
Help improve manufacturing process
Help specify parts and materials
Technical guidance / Troubleshooting
Work on product design and improving manufacturing processes
Mechanical and Electrical Technical Support to people installing our product
Help with evaluating door application
Write or review installation instructions
Quality control / Safety
Qualifications:
5 years of experience in a production metal working or field work environment
Strong proficiency with SolidWorks modeling of parts, assemblies, and drawings
Mechanical, Structural and Electrical knowledgeable
Proficient with MS Word, Excel and Outlook
Basic MATLAB
Bilingual in Spanish, helpful
Degree in Mechanical Engineering
PE helpful
