DescriptionThe Department of Medicine is seeking to hire a dynamic Academic HR Analyst responsible for recommending, developing, implementing, and evaluating policies, labor agreements, and procedures related to Academic Human Resources. Key areas of focus include academic recruitment, appointments, and advancements; compensation and salary administration; faculty welfare programs; visa processing; benefits and payroll management; training and development; handling faculty misconduct; and promoting faculty equity initiatives.Hourly range: $30.56-$60.82QualificationsRequired:

Bachelor's degree in related area and / or equivalent experience / training required

Basic knowledge of and ability to apply / interpret organization and college policies and procedures which govern academic HR.

Knowledge of organization, college and departmental formal and informal policies andprocedures and understanding of variances to stated policies

Knowledge of human resources management systems and other related business software programs and systems

Knowledge of unit academic culture and educational goals of discipline(s) served

Analytical skills to conduct analysis and develop recommendations to Chairs / unit management
