Description An entertainment firm is in search of temporary Accounts Payable help. The ideal candidate has 2-3 years of experience in AP and has worked in Great Plains. This is an on-site position, hours are 8am - 5pm and can begin immediately. Overall Responsibilities and Duties· Sorting and organizing all incoming bills on a daily basis for areas of responsibility· Coding GL expense accounts and identifying invoice date, due date, and vendor terms· Accurately recording and posting invoices in the Great Plains AP module· Running AP historical aging reports and selecting invoices for payment in weekly check runs· Reconciliation of vendor statements and applying unused credit memos to outstanding amounts· Research and resolution of vendor disputes as requested· Monitoring of billing due dates to ensure timely payments· Printing and mailing of checks to vendors in a timely manner· Perform administrative duties including scanning and filing· Communicating with vendors as requested to resolve AP accounts· Other ad-hoc projects as required.
