Description We have an exciting Accounts Receivable (A/R) Specialist job for you, if you are self-starting and detail-oriented! This is an on-site, temporary to hire Accounts Receivable Specialist position for an exciting, natural products company and is based on-site in the Los Angeles, California area. The AR Specialist will be entering, posting, and reconciling batches, as well as researching and resolving customer A/R issues, preparing aging report, placing billing and collection calls, maintaining cash receipts journal, updating, and reconciling sub-ledger to G/L. A strong candidate for this job will be looking for career growth potential, and be capable of processing 200+ invoices per week.Responsibilities
Communicate information, as requested to shippers, customers, the sales/marketing department and other stakeholders
Contact clients to help resolve payment issues; assist in setting up payment plans
Compile segments of monthly closings and annual reports and take care of payments in compliance with GAAP
Square bank accounts, posting and balancing financial data in diverse ledgers
Pinpoint delinquent customer accounts through various means, e.g. written correspondence, phone contact, skip-tracing, and making arrangements for payment
Requirements
AA or BS/BA degree in Accounting or related field preferred
Bank reconciliations experience preferred
Strong familiarity with NetSuite
2+ years of relevant experience in accounts receivable
Proven analytical skills in basic accounts receivable and accounting policy
Proficiency in Microsoft Office with strong Excel skills
