Description We are seeking an Accounts Receivable Specialist to join our team in Los Angeles, California. As an integral part of our team, you'll handle tasks such as processing customer applications, maintaining customer records, resolving customer inquiries, and monitoring customer accounts. This role offers a contract to permanent employment opportunity.Responsibilities: Process customer credit applications with accuracy and efficiency Maintain and update customer credit records regularly Handle chargebacks and perform data entry tasks Oversee full cycle accounts receivable processes Operate accounting software systems effectively Utilize Microsoft Office Suites and Microsoft Excel for various tasks Conduct billing functions and manage cash activity Perform check processing duties in a timely manner Use IBM AS/400 for various accounting functions Communicate effectively with customers and resolve their inquiries. Requirements Minimum of 3 years of experience as an Accounts Receivable Specialist or similar role Proficiency in Accounting Software Systems Familiarity with Great Plains (GPAC) software Experience with IBM AS/400 system Advanced knowledge of NetSuite, Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Office Suites Solid understanding of Accounting Functions Experience with Accounts Receivable (AR) procedures and tasks Proficiency in Billing Functions Experience handling Cash Activity and Check Processing Strong communication and organizational skills Ability to work independently and as part of a team High level of accuracy and attention to detail.
