Description We are offering an employment opportunity for an Accounts Receivable Specialist in the Property/Facilities Management industry, based in Los Angeles, California. As an Accounts Receivable Specialist, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the efficient and timely management of customer accounts, including billing, reconciliation, and payment application. You will also be tasked with maintaining accurate customer records and resolving any customer inquiries.Responsibilities: Efficiently process customer receipts and prepare bank deposits Investigate and resolve any customer queries and requests Develop and manage a recovery system, initiate collection efforts, and process necessary adjustments Maintain an up-to-date billing system and generate associated activities based on specific deadlines and client contract requirements Reconcile customer account details, particularly focusing on non-payments, discrepancies, delayed payments, and other irregularities Assist with accounting month-end closing and year-end closings Maintain comprehensive and accurate accounts receivable customer files and records Analyze client data and activities and prepare monthly metrics to update management Establish and maintain good, consistent communication with clientsRequirements Proficiency in Account Reconciliation is required. Prior experience with Accounts Receivable (AR) is necessary. Must possess strong skills in Billing procedures. Experience with Cash Applications is essential. Expertise in Cash Collections is expected. Knowledge of Commercial Collections in the Real Estate industry is a must. Proficiency in Microsoft Excel for financial data management is necessary. Familiarity with Microsoft Dynamics CRM for managing customer relationships is required.
