Description Job Title: Administrative Assistant with Logistics/Transportation ExperienceLocation: Los Angeles, CA (On-site 4 days per week across Los Angeles, City of Industry, and El Segundo offices)Seeking a dedicated Administrative Assistant with experience in logistics, freight, or transportation to support our Director and Sales team. This role is essential in facilitating seamless operations across multiple offices and strengthening our sales support activities. The ideal candidate has industry knowledge, a detail-oriented mindset, and a proactive approach to supporting our dynamic team.Key Responsibilities:
Director & Sales Support: Assist the Director and Sales team in preparing for meetings, developing presentations, tracking sales reports, and managing calendars to ensure effective time management and preparedness.
Logistics Coordination: Support logistics needs, including coordinating schedules, tracking shipments, and maintaining open communication with transportation and freight partners.
Administrative Tasks: Perform day-to-day administrative tasks, including managing phone calls, emails, and maintaining organized records and files.
Meeting Coordination: Schedule, organize, and facilitate sales and team meetings, preparing relevant materials, arranging travel (if required), and handling technology needs.
Requirements
Experience: 2+ years of administrative experience, preferably within the logistics, freight, or transportation industry.
Industry Knowledge: Familiarity with logistics and freight forwarding terminology and practices; ability to quickly adapt to company-specific processes.
Skills: Excellent organizational, multitasking, and communication skills; proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and CRM software.
Adaptability: Willingness and ability to work on-site across multiple locations in Los Angeles, City of Industry, and El Segundo.
Personality: Self-motivated, reliable, positive attitude, with a commitment to supporting the team and contributing to a collaborative environment.
