Blackline is seeking an Associate Business Systems Analyst to join our Enterprise Applications team, with a focus on bridging business needs and technology. We are looking for a motivated individual to learn a variety of business functions supported by the Salesforce platform.
In this role, individuals will be responsible for eliciting, analyzing, documenting, and managing requirements that solve business challenges through software solutions, with guidance and coaching from the BA Manager.
You'll Get To:
Every Release/Sprint
Work with internal customers to elicit requirements, understand the customer journey, and capture articulated and unarticulated business needs
Define business and functional requirements in a variety of formats including Epics, Personas, Business Process Models, User Stories with Acceptance Criteria, and other formats as required
Collaborate with technical teams to communicate business needs and understand technical feasibility
Prioritize user stories across multiple stakeholder groups in both qualitative and quantitative formats.
Review user stories with both the technical teams and customer to ensure readiness for a Sprint
Participate in estimating stories in the backlog
Each Day
Continually groom the backlog in Jira
Support Blackline's SDLC processes
Review and validate completed stories
Attend Agile Scrum ceremonies
Be available to answer questions for the development team, testers, and business users
Additional Responsibilities
Work closely with stakeholders to ensure that the Minimum Viable product (MVP) is clear and understood by the Delivery Teams
Assist in ensuring that project documents are complete, current, and stored appropriately
Resolve and/or escalate issues in a timely manner
What You'll Bring:
1-3 years of experience
Bachelor's Degree from an accredited college or university or equivalent working experience
Experience with the Salesforce platform
Experience business and requirements analysis
Familiarity with Agile approaches such as the Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe) and Scrum
Comfortable with ambiguity and frequently changing priorities
Strong interpersonal skills with a focus on teamwork
Must be well-versed in the entire MS Office product suite
We're Even More Excited If You Have:
Experience with user experience (UX) design
Knowledge of Sales, Marketing, and Legal processes in a SaaS capacity
Certifications in Agile and/or Business Analysis are a plus

Salary Range:
USD $68,300.00 - USD $97,000.00
Pay Transparency Statement:
Placement within this range depends upon several factors, including the applicant's prior relevant job experience, skill set, and geographic location. In addition to base pay, BlackLine also offers short-term and long-term incentive programs, based on eligibility, along with a robust offering of benefit and wellness plans.
