Cancer Center Clinical Research Project ManagerApply Keck School of Medicine Los Angeles, California The USC Norris Comprehensive Cancer Center at the University of Southern California (USC Norris) was founded in 1971 and has been continuously funded as an NCI-designated Comprehensive Cancer Center since 1973. USC Norris has a rich tradition of collaborative research and serves as a major regional and national resource for cancer research, prevention, treatment and education.The USC Norris Clinical Research Project Manager (hereafter Project Manager) is a critical member of the Cancer Center’s administrative team. Reporting to the Associate Director for Clinical Research with a dotted line to the Chief Administrative Officer, the Project Manager is responsible for providing high level administrative support for the clinical research mission of USC Norris by coordinating and overseeing a number of clinical research projects, initiatives, and regular meetings. The Project Manager will:
Provide assistance to the Associate Director for Clinical Research in creating a dashboard for tracking of investigator initiated trials (IITs)
Oversee and facilitate the development of IITs by working with all stakeholders to ensure timely protocol finalization
Assist in development and dissemination of materials to support clinical investigators in conduct of clinical research
Provide assistance to the Associate Director for Clinical Research in organizing and conducting regular meetings with clinical disease teams
Assist in coordinating meetings and projects related to clinical trials at USC satellites and affiliates
Coordinate interaction and joint projects with internal USC Norris entities critical to clinical research (including DSC, TPC, and others)
Coordinate interaction and joint projects with USC stakeholders relevant to clinical research such as CTSI/CTU, CTO
Work with industry partners to help facilitate scientific collaboration.
The annual base salary hiring range for this position is $84,972.30 - $102,300.
