Visit https://www.dignityhealth.org/socal/locations/californiahospital for more information.ResponsibilitiesUnder the manager supervision, the Community Health Advocate leads the mental health programs initiatives in the Centinela Valley and South Los Angeles. All employees are expected to perform their duties in alignment with the vision and the values of the organization. The person doing this job is responsible for scheduling and coordinating community health classes, conducting outreach, public awareness, and recruitment activities for the Health Ministry program.Qualifications

A minimum of one-year experience in community outreach and advocacy work as a community health promoter.

High School degree or its equivalency.

Graduate of the Esperanza Community Housing Corporations Community Health Promoter Program or similar training program.

A valid California Drivers license use of a car and certificate of insurance.

Cert FIRESAFETY (Within 90 days of Hire).

Bilingual English and Spanish required

Excellent verbal & written communication Skills

Solid competency with computers and various software applications.
