This individual should have demonstrable and excellent graphic design skills that can be applied to both internal and client projects. Be exposed to various workstreams to gain understanding of client needs

Be involved in research and design development for infographics / data visualization, presentation development, and UX design

Participate in think tank-like brainstorm sessions with other consultants

Using design thinking principles and strong graphic design skills, assist with the creation of client deliverables

What you’ll need to succeed:

Interest in design for communications functions

Excellent understanding of Adobe Creative Suite (specifically Illustrator, Photoshop and InDesign)

Experience with data visualization and infographics

Understanding of print production processes

Experience and understanding of UX design principles (although, no coding experience is required)

Ability to visually communicate effectively

Ability to manage time and multiple responsibilities in order to establish realistic production schedules and meet deadlines

Self-start with the ability to work independently as well as on a team

Desire to continue to learn

Must be comfortable receiving minimal guidance using research, previous examples, design principles, and creativity to execute high quality work on a tight timeline.

Education and minimum qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree or working towards a Bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design, Advertising, PR, Marketing or related field

Previous relevant experience working in PR, Corporate Communications, Marketing, or Management Consulting

Internship details:

Start Date: January 2020 (Flexible)

End Date: May 2020 (Flexible)

Hours: 25-35 hours per week
