As the Director, Brand & Product Management at Loot Crate, you will be responsible for creating an incredible member experience, new subscriber acquisition, and overall business growth. You will focus on a category vertical (examples: Gaming, Anime, Fantasy, Sports/WWE), and evolve the experience with true fans in mind. You will work on a variety of projects, find new growth channels beyond paid acquisition, maximize relationships with key licensing partners, and ensure subscriber churn is minimized. You will lead a small yet incredibly talented team that has a proven ability to conceive, define, build and deliver innovative consumer experiences ? physical and digital. Success will be measured by overall performance in achieving revenue targets and new customer acquisition/retention, optimizing team performance, and improving the competitive position of the company.Experience Required? Category Management ? Define how/when/what products are delivered to the subscriber. Have a strong assortment of products & categories. It?s important to have real-time clarity on margin, extension into new categories, depth, mix, and single points of failure.Subscription P&L ? Treat the category like a revenue and cost center, looking for ways to balance all the investment made into profitable outcomes. Drive core monetization of a subscription model via one-time, monthly, and annual payments.? Experience ? Consider the unboxing, seasonality, fandom of the subscriber across physical, web and mobile. Balance the need for innovation to the experience against current business needs and resource constraints.? Community ? Introduce solutions for subscribers to engage as a community / fanbase.? Programs ? Create/manage programs such as VIP, Gifting, Loyalty, Exclusives, FirstReleases, Rewards, Refer a Friend,, Bundles, Club, and Points.? Partnerships ? Work with key licensing partners and develop unique relationships with brands and studios for your specific vertical/crate line(s).? LTV ? Drive increases in subscriber Lifetime Value (LTV) through ongoing A/B testing and optimization of offers, pricing, upsells (internal and 3rd party offers), consumer experience, email marketing and online community experience? Segmentation ? Develop customer segmentation strategies and compelling, personalizedcommunications to increase sales, purchase frequency and emotional connection with high-value customers. ? Testing ? Set an analytical environment of data capture and interpretation understanding andmonitoring key drivers of subscribers. ? Reporting ? Define (and regularly report) on KPIs and metrics and find opportunities for predictable growth across all experiences.? Collaboration ? Collaborate with executive leadership across Loot Crate?s verticals / departments.REQUIREMENTS? Based in the Los Angeles, CA office.? 7+ years of progressive experience in brand marketing/product management to a large (and growing) subscriber base. This experience does not need to be in the gamers/geek space, but does need to be a mix of physical and digital strategies.? Experience developing a communication platform, and actively sharing with an audience.? Experience with segmentation & targeting (CRM), acquisition & retention (LTV), pricing & revenue (RPU) and conversion reporting & analytics (KPI.)? Strong grasp of A/B and multivariate testing/optimization.? Familiarity management of large database, customer segmentation and transformation of data into actionable insights.? Experience using analytical and BI tools (Google Analytics,Tableau) to create insightful reporting to track the business and inform strategy.? Experience with Facebook/Instagram Advertising (custom audiences, lookalikes, retargeting and more).? Social media experience on both the organic and paid side (Influencers, Instagram, Facebook).?
