DescriptionUnder theguidance of the Department Chair and senior leadership, you will oversee HRinitiatives for the Department of Radiological Sciences, encompassing faculty,residents and fellows, academic leaders and numerous employees from variousdepartments across multiple locations in the LA County area.Primaryresponsibilities include developing and administering HR programs, recruitment,onboarding, compensation, training, compliance, employee relations andmaintaining compliance with UC policies and accreditation standards.Additionally,the role involves financial administration related to salaries and payroll,supporting professional development, maintaining compliance with employmentlaws, and overseeing education programs for medical students, residents andfellows. As the HR Director you will also handle academic and staff personnelmatters, performance management, benefits administration and executing currentinitiates that are conducive to a productive work environment.Salary Range:$95,900.00 - $222,100.00 AnnuallyQualificationsBachelor's Degree - stronglypreferredHRCI Certification - stronglypreferredAt least 5 years of experienceworking in and/or managing in an HR environmentDemonstrated knowledge and skill inall phases of the School of Medicine academic personnel policies, DepartmentalPractice Plan, budgets, benefits, and academic personnel issuesExtensive knowledge of theprinciples and practices of human resources management, including recruitment,compensation, employment, employee/labor relations, organizational development,training, and data managementExperience in developing jobdescriptions and performing analyses of jobs within the organizationExperiencein counseling and mediating personnel conflictsDetailed knowledge of employeerelations matters, associated practices, procedures and laws regardingperformance management, corrective action, and progressive discipline includingtermination of employment of both represented and non-represented employeesUCLA Health welcomes all individuals, without regard to race, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, religion, national origin or disabilities, and we proudly look to each person’s unique achievements and experiences to further set us apart.
