HRIS Systems Specialist

Description The HRIS Systems Specialist plays a pivotal role in enhancing the efficiency and effectiveness of our Human Resources Information Systems (HRIS). This position is responsible for identifying opportunities for automation, continuous process improvement, and security enhancements, while collaborating with internal stakeholders and external vendors to streamline HR operations. The successful candidate will lead the planning, implementation, and maintenance of various HR systems to meet current and future business needs.Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Evaluate current HRIS processes and identify areas for automation and optimization to increase efficiency and accuracy.

Lead the implementation, maintenance, and optimization of HR systems including New Employee Onboarding, Forms Management, Surveys, Trackers, Recordkeeping, and Learning Management Systems.

Troubleshoot system issues and coordinate resolution with IT, HR partners, and vendors.

Manage user permissions, access controls, and system configurations to ensure data security and a seamless user experience.

Conduct rigorous testing of system changes and modifications to ensure compliance with organizational standards.

Collaborate with the IT team to develop and implement system requirements, ensuring integration with existing infrastructure.

Utilize people data analytics and reporting capabilities to provide insights and support data-driven decision-making.

Develop end-user procedures, guidelines, and workflow documentation, and provide training to HR team members on system utilization.

Create communications to inform stakeholders about new systems and initiatives.

Stay updated on emerging trends and best practices in HR technology and HRIS applications.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Information Technology, or a related field.

Proven experience in HRIS management, with expertise in system implementation, optimization, and maintenance.

Strong analytical skills and the ability to identify process improvement opportunities.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.

Knowledge of data management principles, security best practices, and HR technology trends.

Experience with HRIS platforms such as [list specific platforms if applicable].

Certification in HR technology or project management (e.g., SHRM-CP, PMP) is a plus.
